Use Herbal Remedies to Beat Allergies Instead of Shots or Pills

Allergies are a problem that many people suffer from in some form. It can be something in the air or something that you eat. Your problem may be constant or it could be seasonal. Many people take medication or get allergy shots, but there are herbal remedies for allergies that can help you beat the symptoms without medicines that may have nasty side effects or painful allergy shots.

An allergy is the immune system responding abnormally to a certain substance like food or a pet. The body basically deals with a common substance the same way it would a harmful germ by producing a lot of histamine which is what responds to attacks on the immune system.

Herbal remedies for allergies attack the problem in a couple ways. You can use remedies that boost your immune system so that allergens aren’t attacked by your immune system. Other remedies deal with they symptoms after you have an allergic reaction.

One of the most common homeopathic or herbal remedy for allergies is honey. You want local honey so it helps you deal with any of the allergens that are in the air where you live.

Ayurveda medicine, recommends bitter orange for asthma and other respiratory allergies. You can find lots of other remedies that combat allergies including the natrual antiboitic echinacea that is supposed to boost your immune system and ginseng powder added to herbal drinks to reduce the likelihood of allergy attacks.
