October 20th, 2008 Posted in Anxiety CuresA certain degree of anxiety is to be expected in life, but if your anxiety symptoms begin to rule your your entire day, you may need to start looking for treatment of them. Most people worry and feel tense or afraid when facing a situation that causes stress. It is thought to be the body’s expected response when it feels in danger.
While anxiety is a challenge, it can be a positive thing to go through. Anxiety helps a person to stay focused and alert, and help you find motivation. However, if you are always experiencing anxiety and it becomes too much for you to handle, it can damge relationships and other areas of your life. This is when one has to seriously consider the fact that you may have an anxiety disorder and seek anxiety or panic attack cures.
Anxiety or panic symptoms are as varied as the people who have them. While some people may experience debilitating anxiety attacks with no warning, others could just get nervous at the thought of something. Still others may deal with a life controlled by tension where they worry about absolutely everything. There is, however, one symptom that everyone has: constant or intense fear or worry about things that most people wouldn’t think twice about.
Feeling angry
* Having trouble with concentration
* Having feelings of dread
* Feeling agitated
* Feeling tense
* Fearing the worst
* Paranoia
* Feeling as if your mind has gone blank
In addition to the emotional anxiety symptoms, there are also physical symptoms that come along with a panic attack. Because these are so numerous, lots of people mistakenly think these symptoms are due to a medical illness. Some physical symptoms of panic attacks are:
* Profuse sweating
* Debilitating headaches
* Palpitations
* Nausea and /or dizziness
* Insomnia
* Frequent urination and/or diarrhea
* Uncontrollable shaking or twitches
* Muscle tension
* Fatigue
* Shortness of breath
Most anxiety attacks reach their peak within 10 minutes, and rarely last more than 30 minutes. While this may not seem to be a very long time, but it does to the one who’s living through the attack. The terror present during the attacks can be so intense that victims usually have a feeling of impending death. The physical symptoms can be so horrible that a lot of people truly believe they are having a heart attack.
If you are living with any of these anxiety symptoms in a group, or alone, and there does not seem to be a valid reason for them, it will be helpful to seek the advice of a health care professional. There are panic attack cures to alleviate the symptoms and possibly take away the attacks completely.
