All of us experience anxiety, however, some cases are considered severe, thus need to be treated. On the other hand, not everyone enters the dark dungeons of depression. People who are depressed always feel miserable and gloomy. They have low mental energy and have feeling of hopelessness. Anxiety and depression are driven by excitement and lethargy respectively.

I’ve included here some of the best ways I did to stop both anxiety and depression.

Change Your Lifestyle - I was able to learn one important thing when I was depressed and experiencing anxiety attacks. I found out that I certainly did not like the feeling of being anxious and depressed, so I needed to do something. I immediately searched the internet and read some good books and learned that the best natural way to alleviate stress and anxiety is by exercising.

In addition to exercise, I also decided to eat healthier meals. Armed with good health and diet books, I started to choose healthier food such as fruits, vegetables and fish.

I continued this healthy lifestyle and achieved a great result after some months when I did not feel that depressed as before.

Be Socially Involved – I know that when you are depressed, you just want to be left alone; however, try to go out with some friends. Having great friends around you will make you feel lighter and happier, thus you should do this more often.

Enter A Support Group – Interacting with people who have the same problems and experiences as you do is an effective way to end anxiety and depression.

You will be able to help each other by sharing some advices on issues of anxiety and depression.
